Default GM cam and head bolt & gasket Kit Required?

Im soon doing 228R, LS6 ported heads and womndered if the basic cam and head bolt and gasket kit from texas speed was requiored for it, becaus ei didnt want to waste $150 idf i dont need it, car has 52000 miles

You will need (2)water pump gaskets, a timing cover gasket, timing cover seal, crank pully bolt, head bolts(torque to yeild) and head gaskets. You can also get arp studs and they can be reused and if you have to remove the heads again the bolt holes wont fill up with coolant either.

Yes it has every thing you will need, if you want to run gm head gaskets and head bolts. If not get the cam swap gasket kit and buy differant head gaskets and bolts or studs.

get there kit, its cheaper than i can get stuff at my own dealership were i work at!
