Default Help me pick out a cam

Hey guys, I have been looking at getting a new cam for my car. All my mods are in my sig, but basically I have done every external bolt on I can and would like to see about getting a cam. What cam do you guys suggest I get and what other parts should I replace while I'm doing the cam install. 2001 Trans Am 57xxx miles.

The car is not a daily driver, it's a fun car for the street/track. Future Plans: I still have a couple years of school left so heads are a ways down the road and I figure once I graduate that I can change the cam again if need be. So I want a cam that makes its best power up top. I have plenty of power down low, but with my SS3600 converter I feel like the car needs more power on the high end. I like the way the stock cam idles, but if the new cam is a little lopey I wouldn't mind.

228/232 109 straight up would wake the car up on the top end without spinning to the moon. You'll need a decent tune.

t-rex + 2 stage progressive 250 shot. you'll need it with that 3600 to get it off the line

I do have HP Tuners, but no wideband 02 sensor... So I could just go pay for some dyno time to tune.

This is everything you need, and you choose the cam. With your setup, I would look at their 228 cam.

If you're trying to go a little more extreme, look at their Ms3 cam. Great cam, and great on the bottle if you were to decide to go that route. Of course, you would need the PRC springs kit instead of the 918 kit for this cam.
