Default Car stalled while running AC w/ new cam.....

I had some major idling problems after TR224 cam install, idle still dips when I take the car out of gear and cruise to a light or stop sign, goes down to 500 and usually recovers immed, sometimes it takes a few secs to come back up. Well now since it is hot out and I am running the air the idle is really shaky when I slow down or come to a complete stop with the car in gear or neutral. Yesterday the car stalled completely when I slowed down to enter a driveway, I just started it up, out the air on, came up to the driveway and slowed so the headers wouldnt rub, and it stalled out. Is this common? Any solutions?

Are you still running the stock programming? You need a good tune after a cam install. And/or raise your idle a little bit. I have a 224 also with a tuning by Ed Wright and the idle set to 800rpm, and I have no surging or stalling issue, even with the AC on.

Tuning was done with LS1 edit, idle is set to 900 RPMs

The tuning is off.A 224 Cam should run like a stock one with a good tune.

I'd ask the guys in Diagnostics and Tuning. They know their ****.

If you can't get an answer, PM jimmyblue, I've seen good advice from him.
