Default a few ???'s about putting together new LSX

ok so i have a fresh block, crank, heads and rods and pistons sitting out in the garage. within the next week or two i will be buttoning it all back together again.yeah i picked up a few goodies along the way. my chromoly hardened pushrods, ls6 ported and shimmed oil pump and ls2 timing chain showed up today. and i still have to get my TR224 cam and some new springs. anyway, i 'm gonna put it together pretty soon. unfortunately it wont be in its new homw for a couple months. which means i wont be able to fire it for a while. what do i need to do to keep all the internals in top working shape. i dont want anything to get screwed up while it is sitting around waiting to be implanted.
