here is what i got going on a 383 from tsp .28-LS1AlumBl GM LS1 Aluminum Engine Block

1 110-4346400610 Eagle LS1 4.00" Stroker Crankshaft

217-2-350-6125-2100 Scat LS1 H-Beam 6.125" Connecting Rods, .927" Wrist

Pins, Set of 8



D11504 Diamond Racing LS1 Forged Flat-Top With -7cc Valve

Reliefs, 3.905" Bore, 4" Stroke, 6.125" Rod Length, .927

x 2.50 Wrist Pins Included



D09153905 Diamond Racing 3.905" Pro Select Piston Rings,

1.5/1.5/3.0mm



171-CH23 Camshaft Bearing Set for LS2 and 2nd Gen LS1 Engine

Block

i also have the 5.3 stage 2 patroits and a 3800 vig convertor. and 3:73 gear what would be a decent cam for this setup?this is not a big track car.but i want a good size but not over kill.any help would be great???

I'm gonna give a range:

230's= medium
240's= killer
250's= radical

There is a boatload of cams you can use.
IMO go with a custom specialy tailored for your combo and desires.

why didnt you ask someone who makes custom cams like patrick g or comp cams or anyone for that matter, tell them your setup and they will design a cam specifically for your setup? I mean you put a lot of money into the engine so i wouldnt slack on a cam.. and by no means am i saying the ms4 is slacking hahaha i just think if i was doing it id have one custom made.. but im sure its crossed your mind.. anyhow.. post some numbers when you get them

jon sold me this whole setup .i asked him what would be a good cam..and this is what he said.this is jon from texas speed.same place im buying the motor
