Rebuild or buy another I'm doing a hybrd installation into a 68 fire bird. There is a local guy that is selling a 98 ls that has a spun rod bearing for $800. And another guy has an engine 2000 engine for 1500. There are comparable with the exact same engine minus accesories. Would it make since to purchase the cheaper engine knowing it will need attention?
