Default G5x4 and Crane Gold "QUICK LIFT" rockers

Is anyone using a LG G5x4 and Crane quick lift rockers?

Did you have any PtoV interference problems?
Is your engine:
Stock Internals?
Built?

If built what piston and what valve reliefs in piston?

Thanks!

I'm not certain what the specs are on that cam, but my buddy runs a similar setup in his SCCA C5 racecar. i think the cam he runs is something like 236ish/245ish and .610/.615 ish somewhere in that area, and he also runs the gold cranes, and they didn't have any PtoV problems, except one of his team-mates (samesetup) had a problem a few times on a high rev downshift. so they started to flycut their pistons....

on all the new motors their building for their team (4 C5's running similar setups) they are now using the mahle pistons with -4cc i believe and with the flycut pistons, and the mahle, no longer any problems

Thanks for the info and the pics.

This is in a sense a mystery motor.

I know the pistons have 4cc reliefs.

The cam is currently installed straight up.

with the ramp rates of that cam, id guess no.
not sure if its a 1.75 or 1.8 rocker. if it is, then its a definate no on a stock piston.

The Crane 1.7's should work with the correct spring, the 1.8's might be another matter though. I have run both and am currently running the 1.7's. If you are running stock heads, I would consider the Crane 833 springs or the PSI Beehives (same as on the Dart heads).
