Default Need help with check engine light and codes!!!!!!!!!! ELLIS?????????

My car's check engine light just came on. So I checked the codes and the only ones that worry me are these two.

10-PCM P0135 H C (heated oxygen sensor (H02S) heater bank 1 sensor 1
P0155 H C (heated oxygen sensor (H02S) heater bank 2 sensor 1

What the hell is this, and should I be worried about it? I have no Idea what is could be and what to do about it. I don't have but the 2 front 02 sensors since I have not catylitic converters. Also, Ellis turned off my rear 02 sensors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like they're not warming up quick enough and thus not responding like they should. What 02's did you put in the front? I would say pull em and put some corvette rear 02 sensors in the front if you haven't already done so.

The headers call for you to put the rear 02 sensors in the front with the provided extentions and to do away with the rear because obviously there isn't anything to sense.

Both those codes are for the front O2's. The heating element in the sensors have gone bad. Get the bosch 13111's. They have a better heating element for longtubes. It's what I have on my car. Many others have too.

How much to they typically run? What will the burnt out heater element effect?

And I deleted the codes....will that cause a problem?

I think they're about $74 each.

You probably only got the codes deleted for the rear o2's. The front codes are still there because you still have front o2's.
