Default Question about aftermarket rods/pistons and weight

Im going to be buying an engine package soon for my LSx swapped Rx-7. I have no future intentions of running nitrous or boost, and am shooting for 450+ HP N/A. I was wondering if some of the aftermarket forged pistons/rods are lighter than others, and which would be better suited for a quicker revving engine?

Yes, there are lighter parts. Stock pistons weigh i believe close to 450 grams. I just had a set of 4.125 bores made and theyre 444 grams, and much bigger.

as for rods, I think most of the aftermarket ones are lighter, but i'm not sure. eagles are 550g i believe. just look around, theres a lot of light weight stuff
