Default Doing a cam swap....bottom gear has no mark!

I am doing a cam swap for a friend and he has a Cloyes Hex A Just. Unless I'm totally blind...the bottom gear doesn't have a timing mark, like the stock gear. I spun it around many times and I don't see any type of mark what so ever. Help, I need to get his car out of my garage, LOL.

Never heard of that but you could just line it up so the dot on the cam sprocket is pointed down and lines up perfectly with the tooth on the crank gear that should put it stright up

If it doesn't have one and the cam gear does, set it up so the cam gear points down as stated above and make your own mark.

Is the gear that go's on the crank a two piece? I've done several timing chains and such that involves that in volves removing the timing chain. And found that some of the two piece setups the gear has a mark but the second piece that the oil pump slides on will cover it up, so I just mark the gear with a marker on the teeth and never had a issue since.
