Default Diamond Pro Select rings - Oil Ring

Just curious, but the oil ring (the wavy part) I swear looks too big... I bought these new, and filed the top ring to .035", the bottom to .025" (forced induction), and you don't have to file the bottom (I would hope). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't even compress the oil ring all the way around the piston, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Please help, I tore my hands up yesterday with the cheap *** compressor I bought yesterday at ish autozone. HELP! Thanks in advance.

Tony

I'm actually giving up... LOL. I was gonna sell everything, woman whooped my *** verbally and told me to have the machinists who have the right tools put it together. I'll have to replace one piston that got dinged at the ring land... Know where I can get a single diamond -8.7cc 3.905 347 piston? =)
