Default LQ9 bore question...

What is a safe bore in a LQ9 6.0 Iron block? I'm looking at one with a 4.04 bore. Is that safe? Streetable? thanks in advance!

Yes, that's safe, and many peopel take it to 4.060 in a N/A application but if your going to go any more than your planning DEFINITELY get the block sonic tested to make sure you have enuff meat in there and wouldn't hurt to sonic test your 4.04 ironbloc, (especially if your going to be on the laughing gas or other type of f/i).

Its pretty much going to stay N/a no nitrous, if so, it'll be 100 dry.

You will be good to go with an overbore of 4.04. To play things extra safe ask your engine builder if he recommends getting block sonic tested but this should be a no brainer either way!

Good luck and enjoy. How many cubes are you for?
