Not to sound like a n3wb (LS1T has been very helpful to me thus far), but what are the odds of putting in a crank from a 4.8 and using the maximum bore available in an LSx...high compression pistons and stiff vavle springs/ strong pushrods to make a high-revving nasty *** roadrace motor out of an LSx
What kinda results would that yield as far as displacement (simple math, I know). Could anyone point me in the right direction because I KNOW I'm not the first person to ask these kinda "anti-displacement" questions...but basically, I wanna build a trans-am type motor that revs and has decent torque...
