Default Loud knock in LS1 after engine warms up?

I think I have it narrowed down to a lifter, but most people say this is rare! Anyone else had this problem?

yeah I had that sound and it ended up being a bad wrist pin, if my buddy could get a video uploaded you could listen to it and hear the knock.

How has the motor been running?

Default sound

I had a loud knocking sound develope as the engine warmed up and I thought it was a lifter so I pulled the heads off and inspected all the lifters. They looked ok, but i replaced all of them anyway. I also added new heads, and put it all back together fired it up and the knock was still there. I eventually found out that it was a spun rod bearing.

Default Thanks for the reply

I have new lifters, going to put the head back on, but I'm still afraid you are right.
