Default LS6 heads and 231/231

a buddy of mine is cutting me a SWEET deal on NIB tsp 231/231 .598/.598 112. i'm planning on putting a set of 243's on there at the same time. i just stumbled on the Christmas special that patriot perf. is having and their brand new 243's for $350 look too good to pass up!!!
my question is... should i have the heads milled for a slight bump in compression? or should i just go the thinner gasket route? or both? or neither? i'm totally up in the air on what the ideal setup would be with this cam. am i looking at any PTV issues by doing any/all of this? i've been trying to pay attention to all the DCR -SCR talk on here but i am by no means versed in any of it! what do you all think would be my best route to a hard running stoplight/ highway pounder?
i'm gonna call Patriot tomorrow and see what they tell me, but i'd really like to hear what some of you have to say...

thanks

mac

Id run thinner headgaskets .040 and standard 64cc . the thinner gasket will be = to a .015 cut off the heads .

68.5 IVC @.006 11.0:1 SCR / 8.5:1 DCR {this is if the cam is +4 advance installed 108 ICL }

70.5 IVC @.006 11.0:1 SCR / 8.4:1 DCR +2 advance 110 ICL
