Default Anybody in southern Iowa or northern Missouri ? need help

If anybody lives near me that has a cammed LS1 please let me know. I have this damn ticking sound in mine that some people say is normal, but the people telling me this don't know anything about an ls1. I would just like to hear another cammed ls1 engine so I can compare the sound to mine. Maybe i wouldn't worry if I knew it really was a normal sound. I am in southern Iowa but northern Missouri would work also. Thanks....Marc

Can you make a video of the sound and post it? Not the best but you would get more input on it.

I have a larger cam in my Camaro and have the standard ticking sound that I assume you are hearing. I am from Corydon and will be moving back there this summer. I would be glad to let you listen to my car, but I'm guessing you will come to a conclusion by that time.

7.425. used to have the 7.4s but I changed them to the 7.425 because I found out that this is the size that i needed. It did quiet it down some

the rockers are fine because I've had the valve covers off about 10 times changing pushrods and such.
