LS1 and LS6 engines use the exact same length pushrods.

LS6 engines have a taller valve to make up for a smaller base circle on the cam.

not trying to thread jack but if the ls6 has taller valves to make up for the smaller base circle than what size pushrods would you need to run a ls6 cam in a ls1 motor?

Thanks

All things being equal, to keep the same lifter preload, you would need a slightly longer pushrod. You will find that if you do a search on the zo6 cam, lots of people have installed them in their LS1 with oem length pushrods. You will also find the difference in the valve stem heights. I can't remember what it is right off hand.

Stock pushrod length in LS1 and LS6's are 7.400. The hollow-stem ZO6 valves are .6mm longer which is about .0236; divide that by the 1.7 ratio of the rockers and you get approx .014 that you need to add to a pushrod length to run ZO6 cam in an LS1. Since they are only available in + or - .025 increments, 7.425 would be a good length.

Or, you could use a length checker to verify...
