Well...just finished pulling my 6.0L and...SHE IS SMOKED!! It looks as if a piece of the sparklug broke off in the cylinder and rattled around in there. Destroyed #7 piston and chamber in the head!! DAMN!! Well, I need to know a reputable engine builder/machine shop in either Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia or in the region. Thanks for your help!!!

I live north of Orlando and Erik@hkracingengines.com is in Texas and he's building my 408. He's the best of the best. Your plug most likely was not the cause of your problem with #7 but a result. Erik just built a 408 for a friend of mine who is asst service mgr at a Caddie dealership in Jax. He had #7 go out on him, lean/detonation. A piece of piston at 10 oclock broke off from the ring land, when we were racing at Gainesville.

WHAT bigdsz? I have a piece of my piston at exactly the 10 oclock position gone as well...and the piston rocks up and down inside the bore. I am betting you are exactly right!!! I think it was also just a really shatty build anyway.
