Default On cam-only can heads be milled?

When people go for cam-only set-ups, are stock heads milled still considered stock (cam-only)? I guess as long as they are not ported?

Well, that does help the compression and change clearances. Also ask yourself this: If the heads are milled and you pulled them off and sold them, you would say? They are milled 0.0xxx and unported.

Well the old age debate, but cam only is stock unmolested longblock with cam swap and valvetrain upgrade (springs, p-rods, chain)

A lot depends on howmuch cam you are planning to run, and whether or not you plan to replace the heads down the road. If you will not be getting heads later, then I'd say do it. It's your car, mod the way you want. But if you post a good dyno number & tell people in this forum that its cam only, expect a or two.

I've thought about doing it too, since it's hard to get a 8.0+ DCR with a decent size cam otherwise. But I'm pretty sold on AFR 205's when my money tree starts blooming

If your wanting to know if milling otherwise stock untouched heads would allow you to fit into the class of "cam only" then my opinion would be no. Now if your wanting to know if it would help out in terms of power, then the answer is yes.
