The motor is as follows Ross forged pistons w/ 4cc reliefs, Patriot 59cc heads, cometic .040 gaskets and this cam: 244/248 .617/.622 109+6
The cam card is attached for the exact info.

I was planning on installing it 2 degrees retarded but was looking for some other opinions.

I will also eventually be spraying a 200 shot w/ this set-up so advice on timing for that would be greatly appreciated also.

Who specced that cam out for you? It already has a 103ICL, which is pretty damn early, its a 109+6, in otherwords 109lsa with 6 degrees of advance built into it.

That cam would probably be OK to install dot to dot if you're looking for a big torque number in the mid-range. If you're after more top-end, I would retard it 2 degrees and install it at 105 ICL. That would rock!

back it up -3*, and put her on a 106icl, but i am sure your timing set only goes in 2* incruments. so -2=105icl, and -4=107. so you got a choice, the 105 will be a little stronger down low.

I ran it straight up last fall but never made it to the track. It had a ton of midrange but seemed to fall off rather early. Looking to move the RPM range up but not so much that I lose all of my torque.
