I was looking at buying an 02 z06 cam from a member here. He says it has pink springs and I know the 02 ls6/z06 springs are yellow. Does anyone know what they may be off of?

Not sure how much the paint would discolor but that may be what you are seeing. Many I hope GM never painted their valve springs pink

I have an '02 Z06, and although I've since sold the original heads, I believe the springs were pink. Thought it was kind of funny at the time.

Anyone else know or should I just walk away from this cam and spring combination this guy is trying to sell since it's advertised as an 02 ls6 cam and springs and he is saying it has pink springs when they should be yellow?

Depends on what he is asking for it. The cam is easily identified by 5308 stamped on the end of it. You can buy a set of new yellow LS6 springs under part # 12499224 for $65 list price, or less if your dealer gives you a discount. Dealer cost on the spring kit is $47.32. I bought a set today for under $60 including tax. For that price, I see no reason to ever use used LS6 springs.
