size of lm7 what is the size externaly dimessionly of the ls1 engines. how much room would i need to put a ls1 in a car? I have heard 26inchs. right now I have 28inch from frame rail to frame rail and 34 inchs from shock tower to shock tower. how tall to need. i will be using gto oil pan
