is my cam good for 383 build??
i have a thunder racing cam 224/224 only about two months old. and i am now about to build a 383 in the next week or so!! i havebeen trying to find out if my cam is ok for that build or do i need a better one? if so what is a good cam for that build? thanks

I would suggest at least a cam in the mid 23X range. A cam that small will not make much power. With a mid 23X cam you will have a slight cam action and the car will make useable power throughout the rpm band. If you want a larger cam something along the lines of a F14 in a 346 I suggest something in the low 24X range.
