Sounds associated with having a bad wrist pin?
I developed a noise in the motor after 12K miles on a forged rebuild. Sounds like a lifter but it increases with RPM. Suspecting a wrist pin is the culprit.
I've never run nitrous though it, it's been raced motor only. The motor was quiet and sound until a few weeks ago. I don't know if a thicker oil 5w40 has anything to do with it in 20 degree weather starting it cold.
Needless to say, the motor is going to come out again. Just wondering if anyone here has had this happen.
