Help me pick a cam
I have read lots on cams, and also viewed lots of dyno results etc.
My needs:
-Want to gain the most tourque possible down low, I don't care so much as for peak HP #'s.
-I want a cam that would still work with a blower in the future.
-I want the "lumpy sound" of the good ol muscle cars, it seems 112 LSA sounds the best.
-The GMPP "Hotcam" looks like it is tried and true, is there anything else one may reccomend? I could car less about shifting the power band up.
-I am gonna do cam only, still will have stock heads.
And one more qwik ?, I have a LS1 Edit tune on the car, once the cam goes in, can I at least drive it 2 hours to a shop for a re-dyno tune?
Thx for any input.

is it a daily driver? If so i would recommend my cam. The TR230/224, it makes great power down low, and is on a 111 lsa so it has a nice lopy idle that you want. Its probably not the best cam for a blower because its a reverse split, and the intake valves are open longer then the exhaust valves, and for F/I you want it the other way around.
And yes it will be safe to drive it, just dont get into it.
