Should i buy new lifters?
I got a shortblock on the the way, and i was wondering if i should buy new lifters for it. I have a 99 ls1 with only 38,000 miles in the old engine. I ama looking to rev to about 7000 rpms with this setup, and was wondering if i should buy new lifters, and which ones. If i have to get morels i will, but really don't want to spend the moeny for them if there is a lifter that will work for my application.

I'd probably go ahead and swap them out. #1 because I wouldn't want to go to the trouble to have a brand new shortblock and put old lifters back in there. #2 sounds like you're going to rev that thing pretty hard. The cost of lifters in comparison to replacing another shortblock is cheap insurance if you're going to get serious about it.
I'd look into a set of Comps or the Caddy Racing lifters if I was you.
Good luck!

How much are the caddy lifter's and where can i get them? Might as well spin it high, for the cost of a shortblock, and my cam's rpm range is 3000-7000 i believe. Well now i need to know which ones to buy, and where is the cheapest to get them, the shortblock will be here the first week of april.
