Default Proper piston ring gap for nitrous use?

Alright guys, I got my pistons in the mail today(-12cc Mahle off the shelf pistons). There was a paper inside talking of cylinder wall clearances, and that nitrous may need a certain amount more clearance.. Anyone care to put this into english I can understand?

I have a piston ring filer, just never done this before lol.

Additional info, bore is 4.030, will be spraying up to 200 shot.

Jump over to the Nitrous forum. Someone there should be able to help.

Its good to have a slightly looser engine with big nitrous shots. Bigger ring end gaps and a bit looser in the bore.

i've heard around 18 thousandths is typical for an all motor small shot setup. i've heard anything over a 200 shot really would benefit from opening the gap up to around .022 or .024

This is where I thought to first post it, but then I changed my mind and moved it here, since technicaly the part is an internal engine part, and nor all nitrous users know this stuff, but yall here in the internal engine forum know piston rings in general.

Whoops. I found the correct paper with the formulas to calculate the gap size needed lol. Mahle says I would need a .032 gap on top ring for over 150 shot, and a .024 gap on anything under 150hp.
