Default Misfire on #8.. Where to start?

Hey guys-

I'm getting a misfire on #8..

I'd like to start trying to diagnose the problem..

I'm really hoping it's the plug.. I've got 80K on the car and I suppose it's time for new plugs anyway..

wow, yeah, well do plugs first. if it's still there, try swapping wires. if still there, swap coilpacks to see if the misfire goes to a different cylinder.

Start with your ignition like Grimes said.. plugs, wires, coil packs.. if it's not there then it may be a fuel problem.
