Default Time estimate on H/C setup. . . PLZ help

I am looking towards to replace H/C, oil pump, double roller timing set, water pump, and hoses. I was wanting to ask if someone knew from my sig. if the car would be able to run a few days without a tune? and also if a decent mechnically inclined 2 people took their time, do you think this can be done in 14 wrench turning hours? Thanks in advance for the input/ advice.

14 is pushing it even with 2 people. My first cam swap only took longer than that. I would expect an entire weekend at least for a first timer. It gets much quicker with practice.

I've pulled the heads of a corvette twice in a day with a friend, pulled a motor out of a gto on Saturday morning and had the new motor in and running by lunch Sunday.

If you have air tools it shouldn't be more than 6 hours specially since you don't have to worry about dropping the lifters. Save yourself some time and use a wet vac to get all the coolant out of the heads it will save you about 1.5hours in not having to clean out the head bolt holes.

Have fun wrenching and don't forget have all your tools organized and stock up on all your fluids, trips to the autoparts store take up serious time.
