Default oil pick up tube- single bolt ?

i'm lead to believe the oil pick up tube (ls1) is retained by a single bolt as stanard, is that the case, and has anyone had probs with that at all?

i'm swapping to dry sump on my ls1 and the kit comes with an alloy adaptor tube to replace the std pick up tube. the adaptor has two bolt holes, just intriuged really?
cheers

I believe the oil pump has two holes, but the pickup tube only uses one of them.

the oil pump has two bolt holes on it... but the stock retention tab only uses one.

like anything else in a high vibration environment, some people have had that bolt back out.. since its so critical, i always loctite it...

but one bolt is sufficient to hold it there.
