Anyone have a junk LS1 head to donate?
Hey folks, just asking if anyone has any kind of LS1, LS2, 5.3, LQ4, etc... head that I could have for free. It wouldn't matter if it was completely scrapped, cracked, etc...
You will think that I am crazy, but I am in the process of R&ding the machining process and an intake manifold to, get this- mount LS1 heads on a small block ford motor. I need a head that I can work out the machining bugs on, I'd hate to scrap out a usable head when I'm in the trial and error process.
...and no this is not a joke, the bore spacing and other amenities are VERY close already between windsor based fords and LS motors.
