break the new engine in?
Well I'm about to get my car back...either later today HOPEFULLY or maybe on monday if my mechanic doesn't finish. I was just curious if I need to break this engine in like a new car and keep the rpm's to a minimum. Also if I need to change the oil or do anything special like that.

I don't know if you have a stock ls1 engine going back in there or not. If you shed a little light on the subject it might help us out. But in general yes I agree with the theory of taking it easy on the engine at the beginning of it's life. I got a new ls1 put in about 8,000 miles ago, and when I first got it I babied it for the first thousand miles or so.
