Default People with spun bearins or rockers that have come off in here please

I just pulled my tranny cause I had a really bad knocking noise that I thought stemed from it or the clutch (I thought it was the clutch cause I could feel it in the pedal). This leads me to my question. As dumb as this sounds in my head, when you guys spun a bearing or had a rocker arm come off could you feel it in the clutch pedal? It is super loud and if I give it a small rev the sound goes away breifly then returns, like it was hit in the air then fell back down. I have looked over the clutch and nothing looks out of the ordinary nor was anything loose. The sound is definatly with the rpm and Im not sure what to do next. Opinions?
Also is it possible to start the car without the tranny? This way I could find out if it is the motor.
Thanks

if you think you spun a bearing change your oil. if theres metal shavings in it theres a possiblility, or if theres a ton of shavings a probability that you spun a bearing.

if you think you popped a rocker pull the valve covers and look.

if you dont know, find a ls1tech sponsor in your area, or go ask some peopel where a reputable ls1 shop is, or a reputable gm dealer, pay them to do a lookover on it before it gets any worse.
