questions on vette motor swap
I have a 2000 ls1 currently. I just found a this......1999 Corvette LS1 engine, 58,000mi. no accessories or harness, been converted to camaro throttlebody and oilpan to put in streetrod, has factory headers and engine mounts, engine in excellent condition, easy way to drop 350hp into your ride, carburate it and add a healthy cam, and 450hp plus is easy to attain, $1500.00 comes with engine stand.
I have almost 120,000 on my LS1. It also has a rod knock to it as well. Would this motor work for me? Can i overcome the issues about it having no accessories or a harness? Does it sound like a good deal?

Accessories & harness will come from your existing motor. Make absolutely sure that the PCM controlling the 1999 Corvette engine looks like the one in your car. If it's a 98 PCM in a 99, the harness & some of the sensors are different. A 98 PCM looks different than a 99. It will be easy to see the difference. Yes, it's a good deal. Just make sure the engine is in running condition & that the seller has a good track record. Good-luck.
