Default Spun bearing, need budget small block setup...

I have a 146k ls1. Full bolt-ons including Fast 90 setup with Nick Williams tb. Car made 357whp and 378wtq with just bolt-ons. Now I think I have spun a bearing and I am tired of the 346. Can you run a 408 block with stock heads? I could prob afford a 408 short-block and just buy a good cam and valvetrain package.

Default

yes but it would be very restricted. it is much better to do it right the first time and put on a set of good heads but if the funds isn't available you can always do it later. if i was you i would go ahead and get a set of arp head bolts or studs.
