The only place that needs rtv is four dabs where the oil pan and front and rear covers meet. After doing a cam install its common for the engine to leak oil around the front cover and pan. Attaching the covers and pan the proper way rear requires the motor to be on a stand out of the car and theres very little room for error when doing it. Did you replace the gasket when you did the cam swap?

I had mine apart twice trying to keep it from leaking at the corners where the rtv goes. Let the rtv dry over night before starting the engine. No leaks now.
