224- 112lsa with A4
I am looking for feedback on the above cam setup on my 02 Z28, I would like to here from anyone who has run this setup or similar. My car has 3.42 gears and will have a 3200 stall, and full bolt ons. The car will be tuned after the cam install. I would like to see how this would drive on the street compared to the same cam on a 114 lsa. I searched but did not find what I was looking for. Thanks for any feedback.

I have the tr224 112 and a ss4000 stall and it drives awesome on stock tune. I am getting it tuned this weekend though. Get the 112, it sounds meaner and the power will come on a little earlier.
btw this is my daily car. I love this cam, it is just like stock until 3k, then she comes to life.

The 112 is not an issue anymore as far as tuning goes. Therefore it is prefered in cam only setups since it raises DCR and as mentionned brings the power on a little earlier which is better as far as A4 is concerned. (A4s do not like high revs)
When Tthe TR224 was born, there was not all the tuning software availability we have now. This is why 114 was prefered on A4s.

Thanks for the input guys, your info. makes sense. My biggest concern was with the street manners. Now comes the hard part, waiting to put the money together to buy the cam. Thanks again.
