H/C Swap + High Altitude + NO tune = ?? Just installed 224/224 112 and AFR 205's, with all the goodies... I was thinking of running up to Lake Tahoe (6,000 ft!) from sea level...
How stupid is this idea?
Will I make it up there?

Yeah.
Anyway to datalog it at WOT when you get there??
I have always been told if I were to take mine to sea level the MAF would adjust, but a tune wouldn't be a bad idea just to make sure.

Im not moving there, I'm just going for vacation, I wont be racing or anything I just wanted to make sure it would make it up there...
Also I have access to an SCT tuner, will that help at all?

You'll be o.k.
Your MAF is smart..it will adjust as the pressure lowers.
I've made it just fine up Vail Pass (Colorado) which is ~12,000 feet.
5th gear all the way up. Sounds great echoing off the mountains.
Have fun in Lake Tahoe. You'll be fine..
