diffirent on 98 engine block?

Default diffirent on 98 engine block?

i was told that the 98 block had thinner sleeves than 99+ blocks, and couldint be bored as much,

thats why i bougth a block from a 99 car, but when i had them togeather i couldn see any diffirent?

did u messure anything or just eye it lol they mighta been talking about just a few thousandths which im sure all the differnce is or something so obveously your not going to actually see the differnce

According to GM 97-98 blocks can be honed .004 inch vs the 99+ blocks can be honed .010 inch. I don't think you'd be able to eye ball that. There's plenty of people though that run 98 blocks honed more than .004.
