Default Weird oil pressure

Just changed the oil 110 miles ago. Used the same type (castrol syntec 5w30) with an ac delco filter, except I had the long filter on it (61?) now I have the short filter the book calls for. Yesterday I drove the car home at full operating temp. During idle I noticed the oil pressure would stay at 45 but sometimes flicker around 30-35 psi. No change in idle or engine noise.
I'm a bit nervous because this car has been one of the loudest LS1's ever heard since I posted sound clips of the engine noises it's made since 22,000 miles. It's had the lifters changed under warranty and they said they checked the oil pump o ring.
it now has 38,250 miles.
Hot oil pressure is 45 to 65.
Does it sound like a bad sender or something else?
Isn't the sender behind the intake, can it be changed without taking the intake off?
