Re: TEA 5.3 1.5 HEADS/CAM
I have a friend in my town right now doing that exact setup except he's building a complete motor with that setup he should have it in within 2 weeks not sure haven't talked to him lately. I also have another friend with the 227/224 cam and it runs like a bat out of hell with his Absolute 5.7L Stage II heads. It sounds good to me. Let us know the results and what you went with.

Re: TEA 5.3 1.5 HEADS/CAM
The total engine airflow heads have similar flow characterics to the other popular vendors. I would go with a split with 4 more degrees on the exhaust side. Since you got the stage 1.5's the exhaust side flows slightly better than the 2's so you might be able to get away with a single pattern. Here is a few options:
220/224 .570/.580(xer) 112lsa 2 degrees of advance - best street
224/228 .580/.580(xer) 112lsa 2 degrees of advance - good all around cam
228/228 .580/.580(xer) 112lsa 2 degrees of advance - starting to lean toward more strip
230/234 .580/.590(xer) 112lsa 2 degrees of advance - more strip than street
Phillip
PM me if you have any specific questions.
