Should I change Valve seals?

Should I change Valve seals?
Ok, so I'm getting ready to swap in a TR224. My motor has about 120,000 miles. It blows just a little white smoke on cold starts and WOT, but I thinks it's pretty normal for an LS1.
I used these part numbers (12533586 & 12457652) and it looks like they are $12/seal (GMpartsdirect). Is that right or is that for a set of 8? Or are those the '02 style that are attached to the seats as well?
If I order the '02 style do I have to pull the heads to swap the seats?
Does any one have a good part number for the 99-01 seals that are hopefully less than $12/seal?

If your swapping springs then that is the time to change your valve seals. Mine doesn't blow white smoke on start up. I got mine when for $28 dollars for the entire set of 16. If your not swapping springs out, which if they're factory then you need to be, then I wouldn't do it. Let me look for the GM part number on the bags that I have laying around.
