Hey guys...what do you think about these #'s??
I dyno'd my gf's T/A a couple weeks ago and I was pleased with the results.
Its an 01 engine and it has the LS6 intake, a Z06 cam (02+), Dynatech headers, and stock computer, no tuning.
It put down 353hp and 349tq...This was with a 6200rpm redline (stock) and thru a 9" rearend.
The a/f ratio was pretty rich at 11.6 from about 4000rpm-redline. Soo I believe with a higher redline and a little tuning it would benefit.
Soo what do you guys think about these #'s?? Also, the dyno that the car was on seems to put out low and very realistic #'s on all the cars I have seen dyno on it.

Hi
Stock internal and Dynatech headers, i think the engine it's rich, LS6 cam it's a small cam you don't need headers like Dynatech, MAC headers well be enough! about the tuning it's necessary with your new LS6 cam & intake, my advice change your headers and tuning your computer.
Good luck

Re: Hey guys...what do you think about these #'s??
Hey thanks guys!
Bdawg..It was dynoed at FSP here in Tucson...they have a mobile dyno (only one on the west coast I believe) and it definitely does not give inflated #'s.
Bigellar, the car is an M6 w/ a Spec Stage 3 clutch.
Fahad, I got the Dynatechs cheap, and they are awesome headers...the car definitely needs tuning...but I dont feel changing headers would do me any good. I think I can see an easy 365hp with tuning...hopefully.

Hey bdawg, no problem I figured you didnt know about FSP...the only other place here in town is the ricer shop Apex-R, they dont know how to run their dynow and have given everyone an inflated dyno #. I was just stating that the FSP dyno doesnt give inflated #'s, which I really like.
Fahad, will do!

Re: Hey guys...what do you think about these #'s??
bdawg...any reason as to why you have such low #'s?? I read something about you having a very small cam...also, when you dyno'd was your torque converter locked? Dave (MonSSter on AZLS1) just dynoed his car, and w/o the converter locked he did 360rwhp, not sure on torque #'s. That in turn should be around 410-415 locked up.
