Specs on pistons
Looking for a set of pistons for something else GM.
I ve heard that the LS pistons may be close enough to fit.
My stock bore is 3-7/8" and CH is 1.660.
I want to use a stroker crank thats about .500 longer
so pistons should be 1.160 CH.
I could work with the stroke by offset grinding the throws
so the CH is flexible.
Anyone got specs on stock bore and height and also aftermarket strokers that are most common.
Since I only need 6 maybe I can find a set that one or 2 are trashed.

Hey there, If you take a 3.5" stroke and go to 4" for instance, only half that amount is above crankshaft centerline and the piston's compression height drops by .250". That would make your needed compression height 1.410. But, maybe I didn't read your post correctly. That being said, I don't know of any of the common combinations that could be widdled on. The most common oversize ring to that bore would be by taking it to 3.905". Good luck.
