Default scratches in cylinder bore

Just pulled my heads off and in number 1 and 2 cylinders there are scratches may be about 4 or 5 of them random on each cylinder wall closer to the wheel side. It literally looks like some sand or carbon got in there and scratched it, if you run your finger nail through it you can feel it. Compression was fine before and it ran fone before. Do number 1 and 2 run hottest? I did over heated it and broil over once before.

Number 7 tends to run the hottest due to the stock intake flow design as it gets more air (thus runs hotter). If you can catch your nail on it, then that's no good. If you think it was running good enough before, then that is up to you. However, if you are at a point where the heads are off and you are able to inspect the cylinders as you are doing now, I don't see why you shouldn't have it honed and cleaned up with some oversize pistons/rings other than you don't have the money or time.

If the compression and oil consumption is good then i wouldnt worry about it.
