Default Is MS4 too big for an Automatic?

I have a 3:73 gear,Yank 3600ss,Would the MS4 be to big for my set up wouldnt I need at least a 4000stall for this cam?Started thinking of just going cam only with this cam since it makes sick power gains ,and also moving up to a 150 shot instead of heads and cam to save money.I was thinking of going with the Patriot226/226 cam and a set of Ported LS6s from texas speed for a cheap head and cam pack that would gain some good power and staying with a 125 shot.Either way I think Id be around 500rwhp which ever way I went, just wondering what would be best for my set up?What do u guys think?

Funny that you ask that, because I just saw one today and it was idleing fine, and sounded nasty. But I definately say that is can be done, with a good tune.

232/236 .600/.600 112 would be great for your combo. ms4 cam would work alot better with a 4000+ stall and more mods.

yeah im with jph... that cam will work well with your 3600. the ms4 is a nasty cam and it can be done with a 3600 but if it was me i would go with a 4000 and it is recommended to go around that area. but yeah either that cam or a tv3 would be nice

With little that I know, I think when you use juice it somewhat loosens up your torque conv. therefore an MS4 wouldn't be a bad decision IMO. So if you think about spraying the motor with a 150Shot then I wouldn't hesitate getting the MS4(flame suit on)...Call up TSP and see what they say....Good luck

no 150 shot is nothing for the ms4. actually its not a lot for any cam. it starts getting to be a problem when you hit the juice with like a 200+ shot
