Default MS4 Cam swap, do I need an underdrive pulley?

We're planning to install the MS4 and I've been reading that alot suggest putting a underdrive pulley on but I would like to know if it is absolutely necessary right now. If I dont need it right now that would be great because otherwise since it's so expensive for the pulleys and belts it would set everything back and I still have more things I do have to get for the install

TIA.

pulleys are what you get when youve got every other bolt on available.

Thanks for the replies. While $260 may not be alot it is when that's about all I can spend every 2 weeks or so on the car . I still have to get the pulley puller, cam install tool, and the fluids I will need along with a few other things

Go to auto zone and rent their pulley puller for 40 bucks. You get the money back when you return it.

It'll net you some decent ponies for the price, but it's not necessary, it's just quite convenient to do it while you already have the stock crank off as it's sometimes a PITA to put it on and take it off. If you don't have the money, don't worry about it. It can be done anytime. It's mostly a convenience thing along with "why not, I'm already down there".
