Default LS1 with 5.3L heads

If using a stock LS1 block with an LS6 cam and stock 5.3L heads, will the pushrods have to be the shorter aftermarket ones or will the stock ones work?

thanks

stock length will work fine.

I'm runnin the following on 7.4 pushrods:

Stock bottom end
224/224 .581/.581 114
P/P & milled .018" 5.3 heads
stock rockers
7.4 chromemoly pushrods
FelPro(stock replacement LS1 head gaskets)

of coarse you would. But I would upgrade to at least a set of P/P LS6 heads & possibly at least a 224 cam or you might end up doin it all again later if it doesn't pick up as much as your hoping for.

And if you do heads don't forget to at least upgrade to LS7 lifters.
