I was just wondering what kind of gains i would be looking at with this cam. I have a lid, stock CME, Jet-Hot lt's, and i have an ls6 intake on the way. And also what would you recomend for the install? I would most likely buy the package from TR, with the cam, pushrods, install kit, retainers. Would you recomend a ported oil pump and a new timing set? Ohh gains as far as both tuning and no tuning.
Thanks
Tim Travis.

Get the cam you wont be disappointed. i just put mine in and can tell its there. Havent got any new times on it yet. Should get 30 to 40 rwhp with your mods and more with all bolt ons.You can get by without tuning but if you want max effect spend the Ducks. Its only money, Jason

Re: Tr224 112lsa
roughly 35hp gain
tuning: you will need to turn off the P0300 SES misfire light more than likely, raise the idle a tad, and maybe drill the TB hole 1-2 sizes if you have a M6. A4's will need a little more tweakin. But this is hit or miss, the car could be perfect after cam, or it may need tuning.
224/224 112 cams are nice all around cams for M6's but for A4's a 224/224 114 is perfect. I'd say i dropped 3 tenths from mine.
definitly get springs, rods, and a new oil pump/timing chain while you are doing the switch unless you have under 15k miles or something on your car

Re: Tr224 112lsa
Great CAM.
Get LS1Edit. I didn't need the t/b drill mod, and did not have to remove the p0300. Just make the test a little less touchy.
Check sig without tuning. I am still tweaking my high octane tables to get the most without KR, then hitting the dyno to tweak it some more.
BTW: I just passed NC State emissions with this cam and FLP LTHeaders without a second look from the inspectors.
