Moved from advanced tech section.

The LS2 intake is a power loser compared to the LS6 intake. It's been documented on this board and in many magazines. Depending on mods, it's as little as 6 rwhp down on the LS6 or as much as 15. Healthier motors show the larger loss.

Fast 90 > Fast 78 > LS6 >LS2 >LS1

Hot Rod mag just had an article on the 6 liter and showed the LS6 bettered the LS2 intake by about 8 HP.

No. there is a huge difference between the two diameters. IMHO go with the LS6. You will save $ on the TB, fuel rail, new o-rings.

Then there is this option as well. Seems to be the best of both worlds! If you have an LS6 already you can take 500 bucks off the deal...

Some people claim to port the LS2 intake to near fast 90/90 power levels.

That TPiS manifold is schweet.. I may go that route instead of the FAST 90, only due to money savings... Hell, $350 for a 90mm ported LS6 manifold.. thats sick.

A couple of people have told me that the WS6's came out stock with the LS6 Intake. Does anybody know if there is any truth to this??

All 01 and 02 LS1s got the LS6 intake, so yes, you already have one.

Umm, I mean no, no you dont, you have that P.O.S. LS1 intake, yah that's right. How 'bout I take it off your hands for say $50 so you can put that money towards an LS6 intake.
